We have been pretty busy around here. Once the sun peeks out the Armstrong's have a hard time staying inside, which is so nice with the girls. Ashley had spring break the last week of March through the first week of April. I had been trying to put something together to get the girls out of town, but I wasn't excited about going by myself and Marc's watering schedule was not very secure yet. But last minute they decided not to turn on water at the farm, so on went the Spring break planning. We made a quick trip to Portland. We left early Sunday and came home late Monday night. The first night there we visited the children's museum. The girls had a great time with modeling clay, waterworks, building creations, and all kinds of other explorations for kids. Here the girls are enjoying the Water works. . . if you've never been to the museum I highly recommend it.

The next day we went to the Oregon Zoo. The girls had a good time, but were pretty tired from the day before and getting to swim pretty late into the night at the hotel.

Brooke liked the zoo also, but it was pretty cold for her.

We got to enjoy a few days of beautiful weather during spring break and Brooke got to try out the baby swing and LOVED it!!

Sadly we had to get rid of "Mo Feathers," our not so friendly Cockatiel. Ashley was devestated, but really the silly thing wouldn't let anyone but Marc touch it and we all got pecked even when we had to feed it. So in order to get out of the dog house with her we started discussions of a new kind of pet that both she and Kendall could get and take care of themselves. This led us to the idea of getting bunnies. So. . . low and behold, the Easter bunny delivered Easter rabbits!!! Meet Crystal--Kendall's white rabbit and Harley--Ashley's HUGE brown rabbit. We are still trying to get a picture of Ashley and Harley together. She's not too fond of being held yet.

So long MO!!

We picked out 3 new cows for our pasture this spring.

The girls helped me stuff Easter Eggs for the big hunt at Grandma and Grandpa Bob and Connie's house. They also dyed eggs at the "new" cabin in Tollgate.

Easter Weekend we ran up to Tollgate to see my parent's new cabin. It was so much fun. The cabin is just perfect. We had fun sledding on the big snow hill with a snow shovel. :)

We had an early Easter celebration with the Armstrong family at Grandma Roberta's house.

Then we celebrated on Easter with the Smith family. Here at the kids trying really hard to sit still for a quick cousin's picture.

That's all for now. I will post later this week with updates on Brooke now that she's 6 months old.
